Richard, originally from Stratford, Ontario, moved to London as a teenager. After graduating from Western University, he began his career as a professional photographer, concentrating on corporate and commercial photography. He also enjoys photographing landscapes, and his work has been published in 30 " table top" books.

Published books include; WESTERN (foreword by Kevin Newman), LONDON (foreword by Bill Brady), LONDON - People Parks & Places, foreword by Victor Garber, SAVOUR STRATFORD - DRAMATICALLY DIFFERENT, (foreword by Colm Feore), NIAGARA (foreword by Donald Zaraldo), STRATFORD (text by Christopher Plummer),McMaster University (foreword by Martin Short), OUR LONDON, (foreword by Heather Hiscox), and THE THAMES (foreword by LLOYD ROBERTSON). 

Corporate brochures, catalogues, advertisements as well as marketing and promotional programs feature Richard's photography, some of which has been used to service markets worldwide and the associated text has subsequently been translated into numerous languages, promoting corporations to the far east and Europe.
